Today is Groundhog Day.
I had always called it Groundhogs Day, but in checking a little further, I find it is singular – Groundhog Day.
I think the little fella just saw his shadow. Now what does that mean? Actually I don’t think it means anything. I always remember Groundhog Day though because it is also the birthday of my oldest long time friend. Irene is older than I am (I won’t say how much) and that is old. We have been friends since I was in the 6th grade (a long long long time). I was maid of honor at her wedding and she was my matron of honor two weeks later. That was way back in 1958.
Here is a picture of us together in my car that I had just bought in 1956 (a 1952 Ford). I let her play like she was driving it. lol

Happy Birthday Irene. And Happy Groundhog Day.

It means six more weeks of winter. However, the calendar says seven more weeks of winter. After all, what does a woodchuck know? I wish your aged friend a Happy Day today. lol
Aren’t forever friends the best? !!!!!

Hi Charlotte,
Nice picture of you and your friend in your car. I would have been able to spot you even if you hadn’t told us.
I haven’t forgotten about Spiritual Sundays although I haven’t posted anything in several weeks. I will get back to it.
Have a good week.
What a fun read!
Just wanted to wish you a wonderful new week …and let you know I’ve left you and Clif “a little something” out on Respice, Prospice.
I don’t know if it means anything or not, but it’s rained all day here. All any groundhog could see here is mud! Wonder what that’s supposed to mean – lol!
What a cute cute photo! Happy Birthday to your friend, Irene!
Hugs!
Kat

You look so beautiful in your car!
