As I stated in my introduction today in the Spiritual Sundays blog, we honor God first today, but we also want to honor mothers. Since “Honor Thy Father and Thy Mother” is one of God’s commandments, we honor him when we obey this command. If you have a wonderful mother like I had, you will do this whether God had commanded it or not. If your mother is still alive, be thankful. Mine has been gone almost 10 years. How I would love to talk to her today. Oh, I do still talk to her often even though she is not here in person, but how wonderful it would be to hear her voice again. I am so looking forward to the day that will happen because of what Jesus did for us. I thought I would share these old photos taken on Mother’s Day in about 1966 or 67. Could have been 68. The dress my mother has on was my gift to her. I made her dress and the dress I had on as well. My dear Hubby bought us the corsages. Wasn’t that sweet?
- Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you enjoy your visit here and come back again soon. I love comments, so if you will take a moment to leave a brief message, it will put a smile on my face, assuming of course it is a nice comment. LOL You are welcome to grab any of my scripture graphics.

The photo of your Mom and the two of you together are sweet. You both look so beautiful and I so wish that I could sew. I’m sorry your Mom is gone and I know how much it must hurt because my Grandmother (who helped raise me) passed away three years ago and some days I just cry and cry that she is not here physically for me to talk with about things like we used to do. My illness has made me cry for her like a child a time or two. Thanks for stopping by and leaving me such a nice message.
